Carlasue Surgeon, 75, of Port Vue, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019. She was born December 21, 1943 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Carl J. and Una T. (Harris) Forgie. She was the granddaughter of the late Thomas and Isabelle Harris who helped raise Carlasue. She was a member of Port Vue United Methodist Church and former member of the Rainbow Girls.  She was also a member and past president of the Port Vue Women's Club .  Carlasue was a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Food Bank and the South Allegheny Reading Program.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James M. Surgeon, sons, Carl James (Linda Hoak) Surgeon of Liberty Borough and Thomas Scott Surgeon of Washington, D.C., daughter, Beth Ann (Martha Madeira) of Villanova, granddaughter, Jennifer  (Dan) Kress and great-granddaughters, Charlotte and Madeline Kress of Elizabeth Township, brother, Thomas  (Linda) Forgie of Port Orange, Fl., sister-in-law, Carol Miskimmin of White Oak,  nieces, nephews, and her dog, Sofie.
