Clifford Jackson Harbert, Jr., age 71, of Elizabeth, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at home. He was a retired heavy equipment operator at U.S. Steel Edgar Thompson Works in Braddock, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of Vietnam, and a member of the McKeesport Vet Center. He enjoyed riding his trike, restoring his 1958 Biscayne and spending time with his family. Born December 8, 1944 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Clifford Jackson Harbert, Sr., Louis Bongyor and Ruby (March) Bongyor.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Bertha A. (Peck) Harbert; daughters, Derdra Miller of Elizabeth and Drenda (Jason) Manes of Elizabeth; son, Clifford Jackson Harbert, III of Elizabeth; grandchildren, Derek, Isaak and Franki Miller and Riley and Jacob Manes; sisters, Charlotte Weimer, Sherry (Stimy) Dingeldine and Jessie Morris, all of McKeesport; brothers, Louis (Cindy) Bongyor, Jr. and Joe Bongyor, both of McKeesport; also, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Michael Yuricha officiating. Burial with military honors will take place on Tuesday at 12:30 PM in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil.
