Fenicia Rosa "Fannie" Como, age 95, of Port Vue, died October 20, 2018, at Senior Care Plaza of McKeesport. Born September 18, 1923, in Monessen, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Antoinette (Satriano) Stella and the wife of the late John J. Como.

Fannie loved numbers and was a bookkeeper all of her life. She retired from the former Cello Print, Inc. of White Oak and prior to that she worked at Wm. L. Buck Real Estate, A & P Travel Agency and Tube City Brewing Co. She was a lifetime member of Port Vue United Methodist Church and its FOD Church organization, where she served as Treasurer. She was also a member of the Elizabeth Twp. Seniors and AARP Chapters 2171 and 2911. Fannie organized a ladies card group and a bowling group, in her earlier years. She loved traveling, playing cards, sewing, baking and satisfying her sweet tooth. A sweet treat would always bring a smile to her face. Although her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Fannie is survived by nieces and nephews, Rev. Dr. Sandra Lee Tyler, Karl Belany, Dr. John "Jack" (Toni Marie) Belany, Keith (Laura) Belany, Carolyn (Darryl) Siegel, Kathy Jean (Peter) Hanas, Gus (Charlotte) Como and Darlene (Dr. Alan) Meden; great nieces and nephews, Dayna Franchi Manipole, Jason (Jessica) Frachi, Michael (april) Como, Barbara Como, Nicholas (Ashley) Hanas, Nathan (Laura) Hanas, Melanie Jean (Manuel) Williams, Mollie (Rex) Ragar, Paul Belany, James Belany and Alina, Lia and Falco Meden; she is blessed to also have great-great nieces and nephews,  Roman, Enzo and Eli Franchi, Soloman Eugene Williams and Hailey Grace, Aubrey Rose, Savannah and Eli Hanas.In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by siblings, Victor Stella, Helen Stella Belany and Nicholas Stella; and nephew, Donald Franchi. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, 10 a.m., at Port Vue United Methodist Church. Pastor Hung Suk Joe will officiate. Entombment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park Mausoleum.
