Ray David Critchfield, 73, of Elizabeth Township, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018.  He was born in Uniontown on November 26, 1944 to the late Harry G. and Drusilla (Phillips) Critchfield. Ray was a US Army Veteran and attended Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church. He worked for the former US Steel Christy Park Works and also worked for Alva M. Squibb Company. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Charlene L. (Sedlar) Moore Critchfield,  sons, David R. (Cindy) Critchfield of Lamont Furnace and Charles E. Moore of Jefferson Hills,  daughters, Denise Renee (Greg) Garner of Mount Pleasant, Carla (Dr. Larry) Tentor of Ashland, VA, and Barbara (Kirk) Moore of Brooklyn, NY, grandchildren, Maitlyn, Ryan, Jessica, Jordan, Molly, Morgan, Meredith and Zachery, sister, Barbara Lee Salitrik of Hopwood,  nieces, Martha, and Druann, and nephews, David, Bill, Matt and Eric.

Friends are welcome Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak. 412-672-6322, Troy J. Gilbert, Director.  Funeral service will be held Monday, October 15, 2018 at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with The Rev. William K.
