Catherine E. DeFelice, age 105, of Port Vue, died October 6, 2018, at Senior Care Plaza of McKeesport. Born February 19, 1913, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Kathryn A. (Miller) Fox and the wife of the late Michael P. DeFelice, for over 47 years.

Catherine E. DeFelice, age 105, of McKeesport, died October 6, 2018, at Senior Care Plaza of McKeesport. Born February 19, 1913, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Kathryn A. (Miller) Fox and the wife of the late Michael P. DeFelice, for over 47 years. Catherine was retired from the former Gimbels Department Store, where she was a sales clerk. She was a member of the former St. Joseph Church, where she was a Christian Mother and a member of the Ladies of Charity. She was the former secretary of the Port Vue Women's Club. Catherine was also a member of the former YWCA, in McKeesport and the national AARP. She loved her many pet dogs throughout her life, although her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Catherine is survived by her children, Kathryn Ann (Michael) Payton of St. Paul, MN, Michael J. (Geralyn) DeFelice of North Huntingdon, John T. (Denise) DeFelice of Elizabeth Twp. and Mary Lee (August) Payne of Baldwin; grandchildren, John Francy, Kate Francy, Debby DeFelice, Lisa Grimm, Michael DeFelice, Tracy Robinson, Carrie Miller, Jamie Cole, Mary Kay Maltos, Aleshia Faiello and Urban Bianchi; great grandchildren, Tiffany Ponzi, Kayleigh Ponzi, Emily Pagano, Jessica Grimm, Shawn Grimm, Joe DeFelice, III, Samantha Francy, Lauren Francy, Rebecca Maltos, Angelia Faiello, Stefano Faiello, Annabella Faiello, Carmella Faiello, Nathan Pascoe, Dylan Miller, Quinn Miller, Camden Cole, Connor Cole, Steve Thompson and Tyler Koch; great great grandchildren, Savannah DeFelice and Ivory DeFelice; also nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Catherine was also preceded in death by son, Joseph P. DeFelice. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10 a.m., at St. Mark Church, Port Vue Worship Site. Fr. Daniel Straughn will be the celebrant. Committal will follow in New St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Three Rivers Hospice, 2500 Mosside Blvd., Monroeville, PA 15146.
