Raymond L. Coleman, age 81, of Liberty Borough, died August 28, 2018, at John J. Kane Regional Center of McKeesport. Born August 3, 1937, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Raymond R. and Bertha (Kolakowski) Coleman and the husband of the living Geraldine Frances (Nizinski) Coleman, for 53 years.

Raymond was retired from US Steel, National Tube Works, where he was a Metallurgical Technician, with 35 years of service. He was a US Army veteran, serving during peacetime. Raymond was a member of St. Mark Parish of Liberty Borough. He was also a member of the 11th Ward Club. Raymond loved sports especially the Pittsburgh Steeler's Football team, he held season tickets and passed them on to his son Raymond. In addition to his wife, Raymond is survived by his children, Raymond P. (Kathy) Coleman of North Huntingdon and Michael S. (Colleen) Coleman of Butler; grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, Joshua, Alicia and Tyler; also nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Ann Ryan. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, August 31, 2018, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 10 a.m., at St. Mark Parish of Liberty Borough. Father Daniel Straughn will be the celebrant. Inurnment will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery of Port Vue.
