Bernard Anthony Gardner, age 74, of Dravosburg, died Friday, July 27, 2018.  He was born in Pittsburgh on December 28, 1943, the son of the late William and Margaret Baumiller Gardner. Bernard served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired from Port Authority as a bus driver after 28 years.

 

He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen (Larry) McWhirter of Dravosburg and Anita Gardner of Lincoln Place; grandchildren, Madison, and Zachary; sisters, Rose Dora of Dravosburg and Margaret Meadville of Lincoln Place; brothers, Howard (Margie) Gardner of Philadelphia, James (Sherry) Gardner of Zelienople and Daniel (Mary) Gardner of Turtle Creek; sister in law Fran (the late William) Gardner of South Side.

Arrangements by Strifflers of Dravosburg West Mifflin, 740 Pittsburgh-McKeesport Blvd., Dravosburg, 15034, (412-678-6192).  Burial with military honors will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
