Lois Berrier Black, age 89, of Lincoln Place, and formerly of McKeesport, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Manorcare Health Services - Whitehall. She was a member of Bible Baptist Temple in Jefferson Hills. Born November 15, 1928 in Canton, OH, she was a daughter of the late Lester H. and Nora (Vanderhoff) Berrier and wife of the late Richard T. Black. She is survived by children, Janice (Sam) Shamber of Henderson, NV, Katheleen (Paul) Sneed of Finleyville, Thomas (Joanne) Black of Townville, Patricia (Kevin) Grace of Cochranton, and Colleen (Thomas) Fink of Pittsburgh; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Manor Care in Whitehall and Heartland Hospice for their loving care in the past year. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 12 noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Donald Thompson officiating.
