Shirley M. Sumpman, 80, of Monroeville, formerly of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018.  She was born November 15, 1937 in Harrison City, Pa., a daughter of the late Charles and Alberta (Lauffer) Cramer.

 Prior to her retirement, Shirley was a baker of the delicious desserts and breads at the Norwin Diner.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Monroeville where she was a member of the Relief Society, and she enjoyed sewing.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Bungard.  She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Wayne C. Sumpman; sons, Wayne A. Sumpman and his wife, Elaine, Donald C. Sumpman and his wife, Marlana; daughter, Donna M. Sumpman, brother, Donald Cramer and his wife, Kathy; sister, Betty Gross; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  Additional viewing will take place on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 710 New Texas Road, Plum, Pa.  15239.  A funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Entombment in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints "Disaster Relief Fund".  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
