Christine “Gertrude” Will of Elizabeth Township, died April 11, 2018 at St. Barnabas Nursing Home in Gibsonia, PA.  She was 100 years old.  Gertrude was born on May 22, 1917 in Nauborn, Germany.  She is the daughter of the late Johannes and Christine (Kuhn) Will.

Gertrude was a pottery maker for Sabins Pottery Company.  She was an active member of the Evangelical Congregational church in McKeesport.  She loved to garden, play cards, and spend time with family.  Gertrude become a US Citizen after WWII and lived with her brother William and his family.  She cared for his wife Tena for many years and became very close to their son, George.Gertrude is survived by nephews George Will, David Will, George W. Will and Vaughn Puckey; and nieces Jean Pope and Norma Puckey, as well as many beloved great nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother William and his wife Tena Will.Family and friends are invited to the Evangelical Congregational church for a memorial service at 11 am on Saturday, April 21, 2018.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Evangelical Congregational Church, 312 Olive Street, McKeesport, PA. 15132.Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com.
