Chester Leonard Mols, age 94, of McKeesport, passed away peacefully on his birthday, Friday, March 16, 2018, at home. Born March 16, 1924, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late John and Alexandria (Izbicki) Mols and the husband of Dolores (Wise) Mols for over 63 years.

Chester retired from US Steel, Irvin Works, with 38 years of service. He was a member of Corpus Christi Parish of McKeesport, formerly St. Mary Czestochowa and the Holy Name Society. Chester served in the Army Air Corps as a Private First Class, working with medical supplies. He was also a member of the Polish National Alliance Lodge # 352. Chester loved listening, singing and dancing to polkas. He also enjoyed relaxing outside on the porch and simply spending quality time with family, friends and neighbors. In addition to his wife, Chester is survived by his children, Leonard (Kathleen) Mols of Chantilly, VA, Cindy (Rick Boyd) Mols of McKeesport and Charlene (Randy) Bargiel of Ashburn, VA; grandchildren, Jessica Bayton of West Mifflin, PA, Lynette Mols of Bellevue, NE, Shea and Sienna Bargiel of Ashburn, VA; great grandchildren; sister, Dolores Mularski; sisters-in-law, Cecilia Mols, Dorothy Bishop, Shirley Mols; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Anthony, Joseph, Henry, Edward and Blair "Steve" Mols; sister, Tessie Koval; sisters-in-law, Shirley Mols and Agnes Mols; brothers-in-law, John Koval, Marty Bishop and Ron Wise.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, March 18, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday, March 19, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, 10 a.m., at Corpus Christi Church. Fr. Steven M. Palsa and Fr. Kevin Dominik as co-celebrants. Committal will follow in St. Mary's Polish Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to your favorite charity in Chester's name.
Chester's family would like to thank the Visiting Angels and Monarch Hospice, Darlene, Lee, Linda, Lesley, Lori, Dawn, Maria, Courtney and Patti for their loving compassion and care that they gave our Dad and Pap during the last several months.
