Daisy M. Retell, age 94 of White Oak, formerly of Buffalo, NY, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2016 at Golden Heights Personal Care Home in Irwin. Born December 28, 1921 in Waverly, TN, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Myrtle (Evans) Watts, and beloved wife of 60 years to the late Reginald W. "Reggie" Retell.

Daisy M. Retell, age 94 of White Oak, formerly of Buffalo, NY, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2016 at Golden Heights Personal Care Home in Irwin. Born December 28, 1921 in Waverly, TN, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Myrtle (Evans) Watts, and beloved wife of 60 years to the late Reginald W. "Reggie" Retell. Daisy and her husband found and accepted the Lord as their Savior and Shepherd to fulfill their purpose in life. They were active members of the Kenmore Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, where they both found much joy. In her early 20's, she began working with her brother at their family restaurant in Buffalo, where she dedicated her time there as the manager until retirement. She also loved gardening, cooking, entertaining friends, played a mean game of poker, and took pleasure in receiving special gifts and presents from her husband. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy S. (Andrew) Mauro of White Oak; grandchildren, Tracey Reay of Yukon, PA and Robert (Denise) Davis of Herminie, PA; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany, Jeremy, Megan, Robert and Trevor; great-great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Micah and Maddox; her cherished and loved sister, Sarah Lee (Alan) Oakes of Perrysville, MO; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Obie, Jeff and Ruby. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 11 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Kirk Albrecht will officiate. Burial services will be private. Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Evangelical Free Church in McKeesport or to the American Heart Association.
