Donald J. Duffy, 86, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at RNC Greensburg. He was born, April 16, 1931 in East Pittsburgh, a son of the late James and Marie (Lewis) Duffy.
Prior to his retirement, Donald was a tool designer for Westinghouse Electric and was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War Era. He was a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and Norwin VFW Post 781. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, D. Eileen Duffy; brother, James Duffy; and sister, Jean Moorhead. He is survived by his two sons, Raymond Duffy and his wife, Marianne, Thomas Duffy; daughter, Lori Kaiser and her husband, Mark; six grandchildren, Kristin (Chris) Stanley, Christopher Duffy, Angela (Dan) Geary, Jacob Kaiser and his fiance, Erika, Michelle Duffy, Joseph (Dominee) Kaiser; and one great-grandchild, Telsa Grace. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Entombment to follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
