Oliva "Ollie" (Dinello) Merletto, age 84, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at home. She retired after 42 years as a waitress at Metz Restaurant in Elizabeth Twp. She was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp. where she was a Eucharistic minister. She was a former avid bowler at Colonial Lanes.

Born February 10, 1933, in Sutersville, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Antonette (Sinesio) Dinello, and wife of the late Joseph M. Merletto. She is survived by sister, Mary Ann Yurkovich of Elizabeth Twp.; brother, Jino Dinello of Michigan; also, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughters, Michelle Jo "Shelley" and Donna M. Merletto; and siblings, Eileen Harchar, and John and Julio Dinello. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10 AM in St. Michael Parish with the Rev. Thomas A. Wagner officiating.
