Donald R. Poorman, age 87, of North Huntingdon, passed away December 23, 2017 at RNC Greensburg. He was born September 19, 1930 in New Stanton, son of the late Frank and Caroline Anderson Poorman.
Prior to retirement he was a machinist for Radform Tool Company. Donald enjoyed hunting and going to hunting camp, played in the PAL Softball Senior League and liked to play the lottery. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Jeannette Gunsallus Poorman in 2003, brothers Delbert and George, sisters Libby, Ruth and Marie. He is survived by 3 sons, Scot, Steve his wife Patrice, and Gregg, One daughter Susan Poorman, brother Thomas and sister Sara Giron. 5 grandchildren, Melissa, Kirsten, Kasey, Eric and D.J, 7 great grandchildren. Friends will be received on Saturday January 6, 2018 from 10 am to 11 am with a service to follow at 11 am at the James W.
