Domenic Jay Betters, Jr., 59, of Belle Vernon, formerly of Greenock, died Thursday, March 10, 2016. He was born September 10, 1956 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Domenic J. and Josephine Costanzo Betters. He was a member of Saint Sebastian Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, and had worked for his family's business, the former D.J. Betters Wrecking Co. He is survived by his son, Domenic John (Tina) Betters and granddaughter, Elizabeth Josephine Betters of Pittsburgh, daughter, Terra Marie (Scott) Huxtable of Norfolk, VA, sisters, Jane (Wendell) DePoppe of Imperial and Barbara (John) Knezovich of McKeesport, brother, Michael (Deborah) Betters of Lincoln, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Betters.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm, Monday, March 14 at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Boston, Elizabeth Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Saint Sebastian Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, 10:00 am with Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick officiating.
