Julius F. "Doots" Such, age 92 of Jefferson Hills and formerly of McKeesport, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 in Baldwin Health Center.  Born April 23, 1925 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Julius August and Mary (Popp) Such. 

A retired millwright for US Steel National Tube Works, Julius was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in McKeesport and a US Army Veteran, serving two tours of duty in Korea during the Korean War, where he was awarded the Bronze Star.  He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Dorothy (Bachisin) Such who died March 14, 2000, and his siblings Helen Hall and Earl Szucs.  Julius is survived by his daughters Lee Ann (Timothy) Stinson of Port Vue and Hollis (Michael) Dresser of Jefferson Hills; his ten grandsons: Noah, Christian, Kyle, Jonas, Oliver, Noble, and Julius Dresser and Scott, Shane, and Ian Stinson; his brother Bruce Such of Port Vue; his sisters Dorothy Hensler of North Carolina and Mary Jane Patterson of Port Vue; and also nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 4 PM to 8 PM.  A Panachida will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 AM in St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church with Fr. Donald D. Voss officiating.  Procession and burial with military honors will follow to Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Vue.  www.bekavacfuneralhome.com
