Theodore R. Druga, 88, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.  He was born March 8, 1929 in Greenfield, PA, a son of the late Michael and Mary Druga.

Prior to his retirement, Ted was a supervisor at Westinghouse Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory with 38 years of service.  He was a member of St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church and a veteran of the US Army having served in Korea.  At the age of 18, Ted tried out for the Chicago Cubs Farm Baseball Team and later coached for the American Legion baseball team.  He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, playing horseshoes, golfing and bowled for GCU in Pittsburgh.  He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Ann Druga; daughters, Diana Catherine Druga, Milissa Marie Pellish (Jay Kolin); sister, Carolyn (Frank) Miceli; and grandson, Joseph David Pellish.  Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  A Parastas service will take place at 3 p.m.  A Panachida will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m.  in the funeral home and the funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church, North Huntingdon.  Interment will be on Friday in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
