Margaret (Kachur) Porzucek, 88, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015 in Traditions of Hershey in Palmyra. She formerly worked as a draftsman in plant engineering for Bell Telephone in Uniontown and also as a secretary for the VA Hospital in Oakland. Born June 5, 1927 in Denbo, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Wolenter) Kachur and wife of 61 years to the late Bernard J. Porzucek.

She is survived by sons, Bernard J. (Connie) Porzucek of Palmyra and James G. Porzucek of Menton, AL; daughter, Mary M. Kee of Trumbull, CT; grandchildren, Nicholas and Abbey Jo Porzucek and Adam C. and Ethan C. Kee; brother, Nicholas D. Kachur of Akron, OH; also nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 10:00 am in St. Thomas a Becket Roman Catholic Church, Jefferson Hills, with Fr. Daniel J. Maurer officiating.  Burial will follow in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown.
