Mary "Honey" Pesta, age 95, of McKeesport, died October 10, 2017, at Southwestern Nursing Home. Born May 16, 1922, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Kusic) Dukic and the wife of the late Michael G. Pesta.

Honey dedicated her life to caring for her family. Prior to her family she ran a crane in the mill during the war effort and later worked as a waitress. Honey was a member of the St. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church. She enjoyed ethnic dancing and sharing ethnic foods with friends and family.
Honey is survived by her children, Michael J. (Sandra) Pesta and Theodore "Ted" (Lynn) Pesta; grandchildren, Angela, Stephanie, Lori, Michael, Jeffrey, Scott and Melissa; also many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Honey was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Christie. A private viewing and Parastas service was held for the family on Friday, October 13, 2017, in the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home Chapel. Fr. John Cuccaro officiated. Burial followed in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Peter & Paul Church, 701 Foster Ave., Duquesne, PA 15110.
