Robert Sheldon Williams, age 60 of Elizabeth Twp., passed away at home on Thursday, October 5, 2017.  Born February 2, 1957 in McKeesport, he was a son of Sylvia (Yost) Williams of Elizabeth Twp. and the late Russell Williams.

A US Air Force Veteran and member of St. Michael's Parish, Robert was a former electronics technician for The Appliance Store in East Liberty and member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America of Western PA.  Robert carried the Olympic Torch through Point State Park for the 1984 Summer Games in Los Angeles.  He loved his R/C cars and woodworking, but most of all he loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.  Besides his mother, Robert is survived by his wife of 16 years Alba Rose (DiGiovanni) Williams; his sister Laurie (Jeffrey) Moore of Elizabeth Twp., his sisters-in-law Kim Williams of Elizabeth Twp. and Vanessa DiGiovanni of Wheeling, WV; his nieces and nephews Nick (Maria) and Jonathan (Abby Cooper) Williams, Jeffrey (Kristie Liptak) Moore, Lindsay (Christopher) Adamson, Sara (Clarence) Kinney, and Charles (Deana), Vincent, and Alaina DiGiovanni; great-nieces and great-nephews Hudson and Greyson Williams, Allyson Moore, Ayden Canova, Paige and Sydney DiGiovanni, and Clarence and Christopher Kinney; and also aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Besides his father, Robert was preceded in death by his brother Brian Williams.  Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 11 AM until a 1 PM Blessing, in the funeral home, with Fr.
