Virginia E. Carter, age 78, of Liberty Borough, died Sept. 25, 2017, in Pittsburgh.

Born Sept. 28, 1938, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Jerimiah and Virginia (Core) Carter.

Virginia was employed at the former G.C. Murphy warehouse in Christy Park.  A past member of Liberty Presbyterian Church, she was a very thoughtful and caring woman to family and friends.

Virginia is survived by eleven nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
