Donald M. Lotz, Sr., age 86, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Irwin, died Sept. 14, 2017, at his home.  Born Nov. 23, 1930, in Christy Park, he was the son of the late Herman M. and Martha J. (Bildhauser) Lotz and the husband of the late Cheryl L. (Lasica) Lotz.

Donald retired as a U.S. Steel foreman and was employed at Christy Parks Works and National Tube Works.  A Steelers and Nittany Lions fan, Donald was also an avid bowler at White Oak Bowl, Inc.   He had a passion for luxury cars, working on and owning Lincolns and Cadillacs.  As a young man, he often could be found demonstrating his roller skating skills with friends at the Palisades.

Survivors include children, Donald (Carol) of Upper St. Clair, Michelle Gessner of White Oak, Derek (Lindsy) of White Oak, Ashley of Natrona Heights, Courtney of Greensburg and Allison (Edward) Kasprisin of Mars;  6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren;  siblings, Elaine Keebler of West Mifflin, Carole Miller of Elizabeth, Betty Ann (Al) Perhacs of New Jersey, Pete (Marlyne) of Liberty Borough, Noreen Stoken of Munhall, and Janet Ghetian of Elizabeth; nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Donald was preceded by brothers-in-law, Charles Keebler, Melvin K. Miller, Jr. and Edward Ghetian.

Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home in McKeesport on Monday, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  Funeral service will be Tuesday morning, 10:00 a.m., in the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com.
