Martha Jamieson Little, 92, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at Transitions Health Care Center, North Huntingdon.
She was born February 10, 1925 in Irwin, Pa., a daughter of the late Alexander and Martha Eyler Jamieson. Prior to her retirement, Martha was a trust officer for PNC Bank, Pittsburgh and a member of The First United Presbyterian Church of Irwin. She was a 1943 graduate of Norwin Union High School and received her Bachelor's degree from Penn State University. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Louise Jamieson Podgers. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Sandra Martin; nephew, Alexander Podgers and his wife, Catherine; two nieces, Katherine Podgers and Jamie (Louise) Jamieson; numerous cousins from the Eyler family. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike on Saturday August 26, 2017 from 12 to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Irwin Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The First Presbyterian Church of Irwin.
