August A. “Auggie” “Gus” Stinner, age 92 of White Oak, died July 7, 2017 at Southwestern Healthcare Center.

Born August 10, 1924 in Duquesne, he was the son of the late Alphonso and Theresa (Stumpf) Stinner and the husband of the late Theresa Stinner.  He was a World War II Army Veteran and enjoyed fishing, gardening and going to the casino.  He is survived by sister, Irene Smith and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by brothers, Joe, Mark, Leo, Gerald, Elmer, and Danny Stinner and sister, Rose Marie McElhinney.  Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday from 3-8 p.m.  A service will be held on Monday, 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Pastor John Pipp will officiate.  Interment will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.  Condolences may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com
