Robert Megahan, 90, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
He was born April 6, 1927 in North Braddock, a son of the late Howard and Constance Clement Megahan. Prior to his retirement, Robert was a Pittsburgh Port Authority bus driver with 30 years of service, and a veteran of WWII having served in the Merchant Marines. He was a pilot and enjoyed woodworking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Evans Megahan in 2013; and son, Robert. He is survived by his son, Joseph Megahan and his fiancee, Melanie Allshouse; brother, Joseph Megahan; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, Inc., 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Saturday from 4-7 p.m. Entombment will be private.
