Veta M. England, age 73, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Jefferson Hospital. She was a foster parent for 15 years for Auberle.

Born in Hanover, WV, she was a daughter of the late James and Willa (Toler) Borders. She is survived by her daughters, Carlotta (Rob) Sherwood of Sharon, Lisa (Rob) Sickels of Monongahela, Cobie England and Meadow England, both of Jefferson Hills; grandchildren, Matthew, Jesse and Vanessa Sherwood, Dean Makepeace, and R.J. and James Sickels; sisters, Jackie Pazo of Virginia, Esther (John) Livsey and Clara Whitaker, both of Jacksonville, FL, and Helen Chomas; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, James Makepeace, and sisters Bethel Henderson and Phyllis Farmer. There will be a memorial gathering in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home Chapel, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Friday, June 2, 2017, from 3 until the time of service at 5 PM with Pastor Roy Kelly officiating.
