Dennis Robert Meinert, Sr, 63, of Greenock, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at home. He was born June 5, 1952 in Pittsburgh and was the son of Barbara Cronen Meinert of Glenshaw and the late Daniel R. Meinert. He was the proprietor of Denny's Custom Trim and enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, and camping.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by daughters, Jennifer L. (Bill) Balzer of Shaler, Kara M. (Jim) Hall of Irwin, son, Dennis Randal (Katelyn) Meinert, Jr, of Greensburg, sister, Judy Donatelli of Glenshaw, grandchildren, Jessica, Tyler, Riley, Alysa, Saralyn, Willie, Liam, and nieces. He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy A. Meinert. Friends are welcome from 2-6 pm, Wednesday, February 17 at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at 6 pm. with Pastor Cindy Lindow, officiating. Condolences may be made at gilbertfuneralhomeandcrematory.com
