Jean Marie Petrozza age 86, of Streetsboro, OH, fomerly of West Mifflin, and North Carolina, died Thursday, May 11, 2017. She was born November 26, 1930, in McKeesport, PA, to John and Gladys M. (Sant) Bailey. She was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish and was an avid reader. She was the beloved mother of Dr. Joseph (Lisa) Petrozza, of Mooresville, NC; grandmother of Anthony, of Atlanta, Holland Felts, of New York, NY, and Landon Felts, of Mooresville, NC; sister of LaRue (Edward) Kennedy, Sharon Hughes, and John Bailey. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Anthony Michael Petrozza in 2005; and siblings, Janice (Jim) Ferraro, Arlene (George) Meert, Diane (Lou) Eros, and James (Ernie) DeLiberato. Visitation on Saturday, May 20, 2017, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, PA, 412-466-3300, where a blessing service will be held with Fr. Thomas Lewandowski officiating. Burial will be in Holy Name Cemetery, West Mifflin. The family extends a special thanks for all the love and care given to Jean by LaRue (Jean’s sister with whom she resided); nieces, Debbie Nichols, Abbie Mayes; and nephew, Dale Kennedy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Christ the Light of the World Parish, 32 South First St., Duqesne, PA 15110.
