Norma Jean (Morris) Weston, age 87, of Elizabeth, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Jefferson Hospital with a well-loved family at her side. Norma was an active member of the Elizabeth community. She owned and operated one of the first vitamin and health products retail stores in the Mon Valley, located within her husband’s chiropractic establishment. She was an active member of the Elizabeth United Methodist Church. Mrs. Weston, along with her loving husband, created two recreational homes, the first at Youghiogheny Lake and the second at Seven Springs Resort, where all their friends and family were welcome to enjoy life with the Weston’s. Norma was an avid sportswoman; she was a golfer, water and alpine skier, and bowler. Before raising her children, Norma Jean was ranked #2 in the U.S.A. for duck pin bowling. Norma was always there to brighten the lives of others through her smile and ability to strike up a conversation with anyone. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Born on August 7, 1929 in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Mary (Hansen) Morris and the beloved wife of the late Dr. Robert (Bob) Weston. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Ann Weston of Trent; son, Dr. Robert Morris (Denise) Weston of Reading; grandchildren, Adrian Marcus Concha and Daryl Briana Concha of Brooklyn, NY and Otto Ellis Woodring Weston of Ormond Beach, FL; brother, Donald (Mary Beth) Morris of Finleyville; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Leroy, Robert and William Morris. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Allegheny Health Network Healthcare @ Home and Gateway Hospice. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth, on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jack Piper officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
