JOAN B. DITTMAN age 83, of West Mifflin, on Holy Saturday, April 15, 2017. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Duquesne, an usher, a member of the choir, the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and Guild and a former member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Duquesne #871. She loved to cook and feed people. She was the beloved wife of 63 years to James F. Dittman, Sr.; loving mother of Jerome J. (Beth A.) Dittman of Mesquite, TX, James F. Dittman, Jr. of South Park, Marianne Terrazas of Fountain Hills, AZ, Robert B. (Karen) Dittman of Irwin, Bernard F. (Krisha) Dittman of Westminster, MD, Linda J. Dittman of West Mifflin, Cynthia H. Dittman of Ligonier and Susan E. (Seth) Gamble of Bolivar, PA; grandmother of Angela, Jennifer, Jim, Lauren, Tom, Victor, Jessica, Ryan, Jillian, Rebecca, Margo and Isaac; great-grandmother of Luke and Madeline; sister of Loretta (Eugene) DeSance of Lincoln Park, MI, Elaine Bixler and her son, Donnie, of West Mifflin, David (Mildred) Leskovitz of Whitaker, Angelo (Maria) Leskovitz of Inkster, MI, the late Nicholas Leskovitz and the late Barbara Jean Leskovitz; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY - SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300. Blessing Service on Thursday, April 20, 2017, in the funeral home, at 11:30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in St. Joseph Church. Rev. Thomas Lewandowski, officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, 1 N. Linden St., Duquesne, PA 15110. Joan was an amazing woman, anyone fortunate enough to experience her unconditional love was forever made a better person.
