Joseph E. McCusker, 86, of White Oak, died Friday, January 29, 2016 at home. He was born January 17, 1930 in Glassport and was the son of the late Emanuel and Mary McGourty McCusker. He was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, the Polish Club and White Oak American Legion Post 701. Joseph was a USMC Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores Rita Kaminski McCusker, daughters, Georgene (Robert) Bingman of Etters, Carol McCusker and Donna (Jeff) Diak of North Huntingdon, sons, Robert J. (Mary) McCusker of Penn Township, Ken (Laura) McCusker of North Huntingdon, and Wayne (Teresa) McCusker of White Oak, brothers, David McCusker of North Huntingdon and Anthony (Theresa) McCusker of Florida, grandchildren, Zachary Bingman, Dr. Hannah Bingman (Dr. Michael) Mudrick, Andrayea Bingman (Dr. Daniel) Contract, Lisa (Ryan) Jones, Shaun (Katie) McCusker, Devin (Fiancée, Emily Getty) McCusker, Brianne (Jen Erickson) McCusker, Kyra (Dan Kelly) McCusker, Mikayla Diak and Nick Diak, great-grandchildren, Brenden Mudrick, Dakotah, Alexis, Abigail, and Jacob Jones, Lucas McCusker, and Royce Jackson, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, Rita McCusker of Boston, and his faithful dog, Alex. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Francis and Gerald McCusker, sisters-in-law, Margaret McCusker and Wanda McCusker, and special aunt and uncle, Eugenia and Edward McGourty. Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Tuesday, February 2 at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 3, at 10:00 am with The Rev. Michael Maranowski, officiating. Burial will be private.
