Janet M. Harvey, age 78 of Irwin, passed away on September 13, 2025, alongside her beloved husband, Harvey Chandler.  She was born on April 21, 1947 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late William Tomko and Vera Jaworski Tomko.  Janet was employed as a Registered Nurse at McKeesport Hospital before embracing her role as a homemaker.  Janet always liked jewelry and she also enjoyed shopping.  She was known for her love of little white show dogs.  In addition to her husband and parents, Janet was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Tomko.  She is survived by three daughters, Stacy Carter, Amy Hu (husband Bill), and Cara Winski (husband Daniel), and three grandchildren, Lucy Hu, Lola Hu, and Dustin Winski.  A prayer service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon.  Interment will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
