Robert D. Davison, age 77 of New Stanton, passed away on September 12, 2025 at Mountain View Memory Care. He was born on June 16, 1948 in McKeesport, a son of the late Dale Davison and Katherine Bernick Davison. Bob was a graduate of McKeesport High School, and also Pitt University with a degree in engineering. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served as a radar repairman during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement, Bob was employed by OMNOVA Solutions in Jeannette as an electrical engineer. He was known by his family to be a prankster and he was always somewhat mischievous. He enjoyed doing yard work, home improvements, antiquing, and collecting antique cookie jars. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife Beverly in 2007, and four sisters, Linda Davison, Judy Vincenzini, Kath Takacs, and Barb Swauger. He is survived by one son, Robert J. Davison, (wife Jen), one daughter, Kelley Lord (husband Todd), three brothers, Jim Davison (wife Janet), Mick Davison (wife Sharon), and Dan Davison (wife Kathy), one sister, Donna Passaro, three grandchildren, Jacob Ross, Sera Lord, and Trina Lord, and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 10 AM with interment to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in McKeesport. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
