Veronica Irene Snyir, 79, of Glassport, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025. She was born on September 2, 1946 in Braddock and was the daughter of the late James Howard and Theresa Eleanor (Byrne) Norgren. Von loved her grandchildren dearly, she also loved her dogs. She was a diehard Steelers fan and she enjoyed baking, clowns and memorable adventures with her children.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Tudek of Forward Township; sons, Thomas W. (Heather) Snyir of Yorktown, VA., Bruce S. (Lisa) Snyir of Glassport, Michael J. Snyir of McKeesport; grandchildren, Brian and Tyler Tudek, Karli and Ashley Zalac, Bruce Thomas and Shelby Snyir, Michael and Melissa “Missy” Snyir, Jordan Prazac, and Jacob and Daisy Grace Snyir; sisters, Michele “Mickey” Fekety, Terri Frity and Nancy Kim Norgren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Katie Rae Snyir; sister, Patricia Holland; and beloved dog, Yogi. Friends are welcomed Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 2-7 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
