Nancy J. Tacsik, age 78, of Glassport, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Martin de Porres Church in McKeesport. She was a former pharmacy tech at Mann's Drugstore for about 20 years and a bank manager at First Commonwealth Bank for 40 years. She attended Robert Morris Jr. College, the American Banking Institute, and Community College of Allegheny County South Campus. She liked to travel, enjoyed working, was a manager for a girls’ softball team, and liked the Steelers and Pirates, bowling and tennis. She was a treasurer for the Downtown McKeesport Association, a board member of the Kiwanis Club of McKeesport, the Steel Valley Opportunities Industrialization Center, the Regional Business Alliance/Mon Yough Chamber of Commerce where she was also on the Membership Service Committee, the Salvation Army, the YWCA where she was also treasurer, and Womansplace. She was a member of the UPMC McKeesport Hospital Women’s Committee, the Women of Achievement, Glassport Library, American Heart Association, and the Mon Yough Realtors Association. Born November 3, 1946 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Mildred (Shandor) Tacsik. She is survived by nephews and great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Chuck Tasik. No visitation is planned. A committal service will take place in the chapel at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery in Monroeville on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 10:30 AM with the Rev. Edwin J. Wickman officiating.
