Robert J. Mehalek, 67, of McKeesport, formerly of White Oak, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015. He was previously employed at U.S. Steel and was a gardener for Strifflers. He was born April 21, 1948, in McKeesport, the son of the late John and Betty Magosh Mehalek. He is survived by his wife, Diane L. Clary Mehalek; brothers-in-law, David and Dan Clary, of Liberty Borough; and an aunt, Martha (Joe) Slifko, of Port Vue.

Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervior, 412-678-6177). Parastas services will be held at 5 p.m. with Father Donald Voss officiating. Burial will take place with military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
