Olive (Faulds) Dishong, age 81, of West Mifflin, died November 30, 2016 at AHN Jefferson Hospital. Born October 9, 1935 in Homestead, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Florence (Link) Faulds and wife of the late Donald Dishong, Sr. Olive worked as a cashier for Hills and then most recently at Kennywood. She loved concerts and music, especially gospel. She enjoyed to play cards, sometimes alone and also with her family.

She loved to be around people, engaging with them and going out of her way to make them comfortable. She is survived by her sons, Donald (Loretta) and Daniel (Alana) Dishong; grandchildren, George, Brandi, Joe, Craig, Angie, Mandy, David, Tim, Katie, Nicholas, and Chandler; great-grandchildren, Leanna and Nathan; sister, Rea Hamilton and also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, George (Janet) Dishong and several brothers and sisters. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, 10 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. A private interment will take place at Riverview Memorial Park in Verona. Condolences may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund in Olive’s name.
