Paul Joseph Pociask, 78, of Elizabeth Township, died Friday, January 22, 2016. He was born August 31, 1937 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Paul F. and late Margaret Polak Pociask. He was a member of Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church in Elizabeth Township, White Oak American Legion Post 701, Versailles Croatian Club, Eleventh Ward Welfare Association, Elizabeth Township Ex-serviceman's Association, Polish Alliance # 352, Blaine Hill Fire Co. Club, East McKeesport F & AM Lodge 765, Turner's, and the Central Vol. Fire Co. where he served as Lieutenant.

Paul was a US Navy Veteran. He was a retired General Foreman at the former US Steel National Tube Works and was also a consultant for UEC in Indonesia for US Steel. He had also worked for the former Reed Florist in McKeesport. He is survived by his wife, Maryann Campbell Pociask, daughters, Sherri Lee (Michael) LeDonne of Greenock and Paula Lynn Pociask of Boston , son, Paul J. Pociask Jr., of Clairton, brother, Nicholas A. Pociask of Greenock, grandchildren, Mandi Lee (Michael Caldwell) LeDonne, Sarah Marie LeDonne, Victoria Lynn Semple-Pociask and Alexandra Marie Semple-Pociask, great-grandson, Michael Bruce Caldwell, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Greg Semple. Friends are welcome Monday January 25 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Funeral service will be held in Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church on Tuesday January 26 at 11:00 am with The Rev. Edwin Pope, officiating. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH). Inurnment with Military Honors will follow at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church, 100 Timothy Drive, Elizabeth PA 15037. Condolences may be made at
