Donna Joyce DeVincentis Krivda, age 85, of North Huntingdon, PA, died on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Donna was born in McKeesport, PA on May 18, 1938 and is the daughter of the late James and Anna Grajcar DeVincentis. Donna was a graduate of St. Peter's High School, Class of 1956. Donna was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church (the former St. Mary Czestochowa Church) in McKeesport, PA.
She is survived by her spouse of 66 years, Gerald Robert Krivda, Sr.; sons, Gerald Robert (Gina) Krivda, Jr. of Southfield, MI; Thomas (Debbie) Krivda of Newtown, PA; daughter, Lori (Steve) Hunt of Panama City Beach, FL; sister, Jane (the late Dave) McCurdy of Elizabeth, PA; brother, James (Georgia) DeVincentis of Venetia, PA; six grandchildren, Charlie; Justin; Jennifer (Zinia); Heather (Nolan); Trevor (Caitlynne); Kaelyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donna raised her family in McKeesport and North Huntingdon. She worked at Sears, Westinghouse, and Norwin High School, among others.
Donna and her loving husband enjoyed many years of traveling to visit their children, grandchildren, family, and friends around the country, as well as making memorable trips to Aruba, Bahamas, Cancun, Hawaii, and Punta Cana. Donna was a wonderful baker, cook, homemaker, and loved to entertain family and friends in her home. She was a gracious host to all visitors, loved the beach, enjoyed socializing, dancing, and going to arts and crafts festivals or listening to concerts at the park. Her smile, compassion, and warmth will be missed.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Arden Courts of Jefferson Hills for their warmth and compassion.
Family and friends will gather on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Father Kevin J. Dominik officiating. Burial will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery in North Versailles.
