Minervia Fowler, age 79, of McKeesport, died on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. She was born in Ridgewood, AL on September 15, 1944 and is the daughter of the late Jullian and Daisy Mae Portis Moody. She retired as a nurse’s aide in 2004. Minervia was a very faithful person, who enjoyed engaging in her Jehovah Witness ministry. She would write letters, preach, and read the Bible. She was also very passionate about cooking.
Minervia is survived by her husband, Leonard Fowler; son, Allen Moody; siblings, Mayrene; and Julia; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Minervia was preceded in death by her sister, Dessi O’Donnell.
Entombment took place at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. Service arrangements were handled by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
