Dorothy S. Gaudy, 86, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023. She was born October 20, 1936 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late George V. and Mary (Midlo) Spisak. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish - St. Patrick Church in Christy Park, and was a life member of the McKeesport Hospital School of Nursing Alumni. Dorothy was a Private Duty Nurse and later retired as an Operating Room Nurse at McKeesport Hospital. With over 40 years of service, many of her colleagues became life long friends. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and enjoyed needlepoint, ceramics and baking.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph Charles Gaudy, sons, Joseph Jeffrey (Doris) Gaudy of North Huntingdon, James Gregory (Cindy) Gaudy of Peters Township, and David Barey Gaudy of Elizabeth Township, sister, Marian T. (Rick) Szmurlo of Biloxi, Mississippi, grandchildren, Ryan (Mandi) Gaudy, Natalie (Michael) Figliolia, Kristina Gaudy and Nicholas Gaudy, nieces, Lisa, Kristan and Karen, great-nieces and cousins. Friends are welcome Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 2-6 pm., at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
