David Allen Mark, 68, passed away on May 18, 2023 at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center in Lakeland, FL. Born in McKeesport, PA on February 13, 1955, he was the son of Elin (Carlson) Mark and Harry Allen Mark of Harrisburg, PA. Dave graduated from Elizabeth-Forward Senior High School and from Polk County Community College, with honors. He was employed at Epic Metals, of Rankin, PA and Lakeland, FL, at Piper Aircraft, of Lakeland, FL and retired from Polk County Community College as a Librarian.

As a Boy Scout, he was a member of Round Hill Troop 78, of Elizabeth, PA where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Dave had an outgoing personality, enjoyed the outdoors and really liked collecting stuff. He is survived by his parents, Elin and Harry Mark of Harrisburg, PA; sisters, Diane Mark of Suquamish, WA, Donna Mark of Pittsburgh, PA; brother, Dale Mark of Cypress, TX; and nephew Harry DuVall of Pittsburgh. Dave was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Signe Carlson and David and Clara Mark. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 12 Noon in the chapel of the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth, PA with Rev. Dr. D. Matthew Stith officiating. Private interment at Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. Offer condolences at www.bekavacfuneralhome.com
