Scott A. Hredocik, 49, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Excela Health Westmoreland.

 He was born April 8, 1967 in Culver City, California, son of Sondra Rost Hredocik Dugan and the late Larry A. Hredocik. Scott was a machinist, a veteran of the US Marines, having served in the Persian Gulf War and a 1985 graduate of Norwin Senior High School. He enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to all music especially Christian rock. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins Fan, loved animals, dancing and had a wonderful sense of humor. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Dugan. He is survived by his paternal grandmother, Veronica Hredocik; siblings, Kimberly Bartko, Jeffrey Forbes and his wife, Hanna, Melissa Hredocik, Kristofer Rainey, Tara Rainey (Jimmy), Robert Dugan Jr. and his wife, Corie, Debby Forbes, Anita Stoner and her husband, Jay; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-7 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor David Hixson officiating. Interment will be held on a later date in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
