Rose Marie Morgan, age 81, of McKeesport, PA died on Friday, January 27, 2023. She was born in McKeesport on February 15, 1941 and is the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Meler Konik Stawicki. Rose is preceded in death by her former husband, Robert D. Morgan.

She received her Associates Degree in Hospitality Service, was employed at Eat N’ Park in Monroeville, Wendy’s in White Oak, and McKeesport Area School District. She taught CCD at the former St. Pius Church in McKeesport for 35 years and then was their Director. Rose Marie also was the Safety Environment Coordinator at St. Pius and a member of the Christian Mothers.

Rose is survived by her children, Coleen and her former husband James Wadowsky; Loreen Mitchell; Kathleen (Steve) Andrejcak; Robert J. Morgan; Maureen (Ron) Dorsey; sister, Joan (the late Charles) Whitney; brother, John “Butch” (Donna) Konik; grandchildren, Christopher (Thanh) Wadowsky, Joseph (Jeannette) Wadowsky, Peter Wadowsky, Michelle (Corey) Guidry, Mauri Mitchell, Levi Andrejcak, Chance Robertson, Jordan Robertson; many great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Friday, February 3, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church, 2515 Versailles Avenue, McKeesport, PA 15132.
