Ada Isadora Moffett, age 97, of McKeesport, PA, died on January 24, 2023. She was born in McKeesport on July 5, 1925 and is the daughter of the late Thomas Pearson and Permilla C. Divens.
Ada was preceded in death by her husband, David Moffett. She was employed at the Famous Department Store prior to marriage. After marriage she was employed by Interstate United in the cafeteria of US Steel and then retired as a cook from The Homestead Personal Cared home. She was a lifelong member of West Side United Methodist Church in McKeesport. Ada is survived by her sons, David Moffett of McKeesport, PA; Paul (Florence Gingery) Moffett of McKeesport, PA; grandson, Paul E. Moffett of Buena Vista; and great granddaughter, Mikayla Moffett of McKeesport. Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 2:00 until 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow.
