Paul William Hunter, 63, of Greenock, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022. He was born December 2, 1959 in McKeesport and was the son of Paul "Skip" and Beverly "Joy" (Holsing) Hunter of Greenock. Paul attended the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church. He loved to sing, and sang in the church choir, as well as a leader of the youth group for many years. He was deeply involved with the Auberle Home in McKeesport where he mentored and fostered young men including his sons, Robert and Amado. He worked for UPMC McKeesport Hospital and had previously worked  for the former G.C. Murphy Co.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Justin Sherlock of Greenock, sister, Faith (Kenneth) Lasica of Mount Vernon, nephews, Christopher and Jason and a niece, Noelle.  He was preceded in death by his son, Amado. Private service took place Wednesday, December 21, 2022 in the chapel of Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
