Connie L. Johnson, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away peacefully on April 30, 2024 at the William Penn Care Center in Jeannette, PA. Born February 12, 1942 in McKeesport, PA, the daughter of the late Edward & Gertrude Dias. She was the wife of the late William Cletus Johnson (died in 1998). Connie will be remembered by her children, Walter (Tammy) Johnson, Lorie (Ted) Kukich, and Michelle (Scott) Coffman. She was the grandmother to Dawn Marie, Beth Ann, Aaron Johnson, Anika & Brady Kukich, and Lauren & Brett Coffman. She greatly cherished her role as “grammy” and time spent with her grandchildren made her the happiest. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Aleena & Brandon, along with 4 siblings (1 sister and 3 brothers). In addition to her parents and husband, she is pre-deceased by a sister. Connie was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed cooking for anyone who wanted to eat or celebrate a party! She was well known for her famous ladylocks and other sweet treats. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (13770 Noel Road; Suite 801889; Dallas, TX 75380 or at komen.org). Family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 2 from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home (176 Clay Pike; North Huntingdon, PA 15642).
