Lauren A. Borrelli

August 02, 2022 |

By Wojciechowski Funeral Home | Posted in: Wojciechowski Funeral Home

Late Monday August 1st our loving daughter, sister and friend Lauren Borrelli passed peacefully at the age of 34.  Born March 29, 1988 she was the daughter of Mi Sun and the late Christopher Borrelli.  She was a graduate of both Penn State (B.Sc. Psychology) and Pitt (Master of Business Administration).   Lauren worked in Pharmaceutical Contract Negotiations at Amgen, first in Los Angeles and then remotely from her home in Pittsburgh. Her memory lives on through her mother, her sister Sarah Borrelli (Ryan Surace), nephew Nico Surace and niece Luna Surace, as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins, and innumerable friends. Lauren was fanatical about Formula 1 racing and made it to nearly every race watch party at Coop Deville even with the ridiculously early race times of the series. She was involved with many gyms, too many to count. Lauren cared deeply for others and frequently made care packages and home-made chapstick to give to the homeless near her North Side apartment. She was passionate about hiking, climbing and walking. Frequently, she would take several multi-hour “short walks” to get donuts from this “new place you have to try.” Games! She loved games. Even when she had never played a game or barely listened to the rules, she would immediately determine the optimum strategy and exploits to win. She would always get there before anyone else.  Friends and loved ones are invited to come share in celebrating her life and experiences at Wojciechowski Funeral Home in Glassport, PA on Friday August 5th from 2-4p and 6-8p.
