Freddie Robbins, 88, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania was born September 26, 1933, in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the beloved son to the late John and Edna Green-Robbins.

Freddie was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He worked at Krispy Kreme Doughnut, Steel Mill, Auberle, School Bus Driver with perfect attendance with dedication & commitment to children’s safety. He enjoyed working on cars & would help his friends/family with repairs of their vehicles. He was a creative person with a natural niche for carpentry, electrical, mechanical, & plumbing workmanship.  He performed most of the maintenance in the upkeep of his home. Freddie was a man of many talents.

Mary M. (Yankowski) Lisic, 100, peacefully passed on August 8, 2022, at the age of 100, with her family at her side. Mary was the devoted wife of the late Sylvester “Sy” Lisic. Loving mother of Janet Lucarelli, John (MaryAnn) Florchak, Susan Rappaport. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in passing by her parents, Casper and Catherine (Matakas) Yankowski, and her son, Michael Lisic.

Mary was part of the Greatest Generation. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed baking. Mary was a former member of the St. Jude Rosary Society.

Rebecca R. (Winks) Buchleitner, age 90, formerly of North Versailles, PA, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the home of her daughter in Hendersonville, TN. Born in Pittsburgh on August 7, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Nowinckle) Winks. She formerly worked at Union Switch and Signal as a Tar Baby and was also a seamstress at a drapery factory and a men’s clothing store. Most of all, she was a wife and mother. She liked to crochet, square dance and be on her C.B. radio. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Buchleitner; mother of Patricia (Carl) McNickle of Hendersonville, TN and the late Robert John Buchleitner and late Robert William Buchleitner; grandmother of Brandon (Brittany) McNickle and CJ (Nora) McNickle; great grandmother of Layla Grace McNickle & Mason James McNickle and Chasen Edward & Reagan Leigh McNickle; and sister of the late Raymond (late Phyllis) Winks. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from Noon-2:00 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. Joseph M. Sabol Jr., age 91, of Duquesne, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at The Grove in North Huntingdon. Born in West Mifflin on October 11, 1930, he was the son of the late Joseph M. Sr. and Mary (Petras) Sabol. He was a retired steelworker from U.S. Steel-Homestead Works and a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish-St. Agnes Church, where he was an usher. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Joseph is the beloved husband of Loretta (Kukta) Sabol for 65 years; father of Joseph (Cynthia) Sabol of South Fayette; grandfather of Andrew Joseph Sabol, Lauren (Matthew) Reick and Rachel Staley; and great grandfather of Logan. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Agnes Church-West Mifflin, with Rev. Dan Sweeney, officiating. Military Honors will follow. Dennis Clyde “Den” Randolph, 72, of Sutersville passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022. He was born September 4, 1949 in McKeesport and is the son of Erma J. (Betzner) Randolph and the late Clyde I. Randolph. After graduating from McKeesport High School in 1967, Den met the love of his life, Diane. He then enlisted with the Marines and served from 1969-1971 and has always been a proud Veteran. Den worked many jobs through the years, but retired in 2016 from Basic Carbide, where he worked as an Inspector & Shipper. He was a member of Shaner Gun Club, and he loved hunting. He was a huge family man, and loved spending time with them, and he especially loved his dogs.

Amy was a Child Psychologist and worked for the Elizabeth Forward School District. She was a 1992 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and 1999 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. She was a member of White Oak American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and she was also a member of numerous professional organizations.

Julia Karnash, 91, died Aug. 13, 2022.  She is the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Graban and beloved wife of the late Joseph Karnash.  She is survived by her daughters Evelyn (Bill) Piel, JoAnn (Dave) Hartos, Anna O'Toole and Linda Karnash; grandchildren Jason (Jenn) Piel, Alex (Becky) Hartos, Jennifer (Dan) Phinick, Amanda O'Toole and Kelsey O'Toole; great grandchildren Ethan Piel, Kylie Piel, Lucas Piel, Elizabeth Hartos and Katie Hartos; sister-in-law Peggy Graban; also nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brothers Anthony Graban, John Graban, Mike (Mary) Graban, Nick (Mary) Graban, Pete (Rose) Graban, Joseph (Jean) Graban, Frank (Margaret) Graban, Andy Graban; sisters Rose (Edward) Kosar and Mary (George) Yosko.  Julia was a member of St. Joachim and Ann Parish.  Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport on Mon. from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8.  A funeral mass will be held Tues. 10:00 am at St. Eugene Church.  Entombment following Calvary Cemetery.

(Grimes) Lewis.  Jay was a talented hairdresser and barber with a loyal following, an amazing ice skater (who once tried out for the Ice Capades), and an excellent golfer and true student of the game.  To all of these activities he applied a technical aptitude and curiosity, always trying to better his crafts.  Most importantly though, he was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed by the many, many people who loved him.  Jay is survived by his wife of 65 years Judy (Grotefend) Lewis; his children Robin (Paul) Haines of Indiana, PA and J.C. (Karen) Lewis of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren Jordan and Casey Haines, Callie Jellots, and Koutnaye and Haley Lewis; his seven great-grandchildren; and also nieces and nephews.

Thomas A. Kustra, age 70 of North Huntingdon died August 10, 2022 at Forbes Regional Health Care Center. He was born June 11, 1952 in McKeesport, a son of Albert and the late Barbara Kowalski Kustra. Prior to his retirement, Tom was employed as an electrical engineer for the former Bechtel-Bettis Plant. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a masters degree in electrical engineering. He was an active member of the Norwin Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed technology, playing horseshoes, and playing with his grandson. He was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Kustra. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife Linda Casey Kustra, a son Jeffrey and his wife Alicia, a daughter Melissa McLaughlin (Ryan), a brother James (Kelley), and grandson Greyson. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Saturday from 3-7 p.m. with a service to follow at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary Czestochowa Cemetery, 144 Upper Heckman Rd., White Oak, PA.
